Ihor Polishchuk wood carving and restoration studio was founded in 2000 in Toronto.15 years of artistic education and great experience of work in woodworking industry in Europe and North America allow Ihor Polishchuk and his father Nick Polishchuk to offer customers such services as: custom designed hand-carved architectural carving, custom furniture, picture and mirror frames, restoration of wooden furniture, restoration of picture and mirror frames etc.
Everyone who has seen Ihor's and Nick's original wood carvings simply cannot remain indifferent to this kind of art. Their creations possess genuine artistic expression as well as technical virtuosity. Whether it is ornamental wood carving on the door, immense wooden sculpture or a bas-relief, never overlooks even the most minor detail in the process of his artistic creation. Although they draw for inspiration from their immediate experience, in the creative process details and rich images are superimposed onto the realistic base, so that the end product of Nick's and Ihor's work seems extraordinary.
